Week Calendar

Senior Health Insurance Program (SHIP) is a free program sponsored by the Morris Hospital. 

This class is for children 2 months old through almost 2 years and their caregiver. Each week we will read stories about different animals, sing songs, do a storyboard, and a sensory activity. Child must be a CCPLD resident.

Policy Committee meeting to discuss the following policies: (1) Finance Policy; (2) Library Card Policy; (3) Material and Monetary Donations Policy; (4) Reimbursement of Travel, Meal, Lodgings Expenses Policy; (5) Security C

This class is for children 3 years old thru going into Kindergarten. Each week we will read stories about different animals, sing songs, do rhymes, and a craft. Child must be a CCPLD resident.

Tween Summer Classes are for children going into 4th and 5th grade. Each week they will explore different animals and their habitats. Child must be a CCPLD resident.

This class is for children 2 and 3 years old not ready to be on their own and their caregiver. Each week we will read stories about different animals, sing songs, do a storyboard, and a sensory activity. Child must be a CCPLD resident.

Summer School Age Classes are for children going into 1st thru 3rd grade. Each week they will explore different animals and their habitats. Child must be a CCPLD resident.

This cooking class is for children going into 6th thru 12th grade. We will make 1 savory and 1 sweet dish. Child must be a CCPLD resident.

Teen Summer Classes are for children going into 6th thru 12th grade. Each week they will explore different animals and their habitats. Child must be a CCPLD resident.

Take a stroll through the Jungle while you read a themed book along the way and do the activities that go along with the story. Come anytime between 1:00 an 3:00 to stroll through the jungle. Registration is required with a CCPLD library card.

3rd thru 5th graders will be taken through step by step to create their very own canvas painting. Registration is required.

Please register to receive a kit to complete our Fun Friday activity. Each week we'll have a different activity for you to do. Each Friday at 1pm on our Facebook Page we will release a short video explaining the activity and how to complete it.

6th thru 12th graders will be taken through step by step to create their very own canvas painting. Registration is required.

Teens age 12 thru 16 can join the Therapy Studio Counseling Center and CCPLD to create a future vision for your life and work on seeing yourself become the person you want to be.

We will sample and learn how to make delicious salads. Must be an adult CCPLD library cardholder to register. 

CCPLD and the Village of Coal City Park Board present this Movie on the Lawn Event for the showing of "Minions: The rise of Gru." Registration is required and must be a CCPLD cardholder. Snacks will be provided.
