Week Calendar

Schedule a meeting with Chloe of Kendall County Community Action at 630-553-9100 ext. 8067. Meetings are scheduled each Wednesday between 9am and 12pm in CCPLD's upstairs study room.

Senior Health Insurance Program (SHIP) is a free program sponsored by the Morris Hospital. David Veronda will provide health insurance counseling service for Medicare beneficiaries and their caregivers.

Each month on the 2nd Monday between 10am and 7pm while supplies last we will have a different adult craft for you to make and take.

1st to 3rd graders can join us for Summer Fun as we Color our World in different ways through books, crafts, and activities. Child must be a CCPLD resident. If not, please see youth services.

Babies through almost 23 months old can join us for some summer fun as we Color Our World through different means each week. There will be books, songs, fingerplays and sensory activities. Child must be a CCPLD resident.

Preschoolers and Children going into kindergarten can join us each week as we Color Our World in different ways through stories, songs, activities and a take home craft to complete at home. Child must be a CCPLD resident.

4th and 5th graders can join us for Tween Summer Fun as we Color our World in different ways. Child must be a CCPLD resident. If not, please see youth services.

2-3 year olds not ready to be on their own can join us for some summer fun as we Color Our World through different means each week. There will be books, songs, fingerplays and sensory activities. Child must be a CCPLD resident.

Lil's Deb's Mobile Eats food truck will be in the Library's south parking lot to serve the following menu items:  hot dogs, foot longs, Polish sausage, Italian beef, Italian sausage, meatball sandwich, pasta, chili and BBQ.

4th-5th graders join us for a cooking class making a savory and a sweet dish to be determined. Child must be a CCPLD resident. See youth services if not.

6th-12th graders can join us for Teen Summer Fun as we Color our World in different ways. Child must be a CCPLD resident. If not, please see youth services.

Join us for a Stroll through our garden area as you read a story along the way. There will be fun activities to go with each page of the story. Child must be a CCPLD resident. If not, please see youth services.

3rd thru 5th graders can join us for a step by step painting class. Child needs to be a CCPLD resident. If not, please see youth services.

2 years to 5th graders can register to receive kits with written directions to make a different craft/activity each week. We will let you know when the kit is ready to be picked up.

Adult CCPLD library cardholders can join us in the meeting room to play the card game Euchre. Seasoned players only, please. Prizes will be awarded to 1st place winner and biggest loser. No registration required.

1st - 5th graders can join us for some work out videos from Go Noodle and a lesson about how to take care of ourselves. This program is a collaboration with Riverside Medical, who sends a nurse to talk to us when available.

Adults can enjoy snacks and watch an anime movie and complete various anime activities such as games or crafts each month. Once you register you will be signed up for all classes on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 6pm in Annex A. 

We will sample and learn All About Breakfast foods.
