Senior Health Insurance Program (SHIP) is a free program sponsored by the Morris Hospital. David Veronda will provide health insurance counseling service for Medicare beneficiaries and their caregivers.

CCPLD will be hosting an outdoor farmer's market. Vendors will include farmers, crafters, and artisans. We will highlight the vendors prior to each market. Interested vendors can fill out an application.

Group of ladies that get together to make items for charities and local nursing homes, such as: Operation St. Nick and quilts of valor. 

1st to 3rd graders can join us for Summer Fun as we Color our World in different ways through books, crafts, and activities. Child must be a CCPLD resident. If not, please see youth services.

The Memory Cafe is a friendly, welcoming place where people living with memory loss and their caregivers can relax, connect with others, and enjoy activities together. This event takes place in the Annex. RSVP: 815-933-7791 ext. 9950.

Babies through almost 23 months old can join us for some summer fun as we Color Our World through different means each week. There will be books, songs, fingerplays and sensory activities. Child must be a CCPLD resident.

Sweet Treats & Tasty Eats will be doing a pop up event here in the Library's parking lot.  Stop by and purchase some sweets such as cheesecake slices, cookies, cupcakes, cakes and more.

Preschoolers and Children going into kindergarten can join us each week as we Color Our World in different ways through stories, songs, activities and a take home craft to complete at home. Child must be a CCPLD resident.

4th and 5th graders can join us for Tween Summer Fun as we Color our World in different ways. Child must be a CCPLD resident. If not, please see youth services.

2-3 year olds not ready to be on their own can join us for some summer fun as we Color Our World through different means each week. There will be books, songs, fingerplays and sensory activities. Child must be a CCPLD resident.

6th-12th graders join us for a cooking class making a savory and a sweet dish to be determined. Child must be a CCPLD resident. See youth services if not.

3rd thru 5th graders can join us for a step by step painting class. Child needs to be a CCPLD resident. If not, please see youth services.

2 years to 5th graders can register to receive kits with written directions to make a different craft/activity each week. We will let you know when the kit is ready to be picked up.

Adult CCPLD library cardholders can join us in the meeting room to play the card game Euchre. Seasoned players only, please. Prizes will be awarded to 1st place winner and biggest loser. No registration required.

6th thru 12th graders can join us for a painting class. Stay after the Teen Summer Fun and have some snacks with us while we set up for the painting class. Teen must be a CCPLD resident. If not, please see youth services.

1st - 5th graders can join us for some work out videos from Go Noodle and a lesson about how to take care of ourselves. This program is a collaboration with Riverside Medical, who sends a nurse to talk to us when available.

Register to be part of our talent show. Tell us what your talent is, we'll approve it, and then set a time for you to practice between 3pm and 5pm before the big show. Contact youth services for more information.

4 free Brookfield Zoo tickets for CCPLD cardholders 16+ in good standing. Tickets are available while supplies last.
