Illinois Libraries Present an evening with Nick Offerman. We are truly honored to welcome this beloved Illinois native, actor, humorist, and woodworker. Best known as Ron Swanson on NBC’s Parks & Recreation, you may also know Nick as Forest in FX's Devs, Karl Weathers in the FX series Fargo, and as co-host and producer of NBC's Making It, alongside old pal Amy Poehler. Nick will be discussing his newest book, Where the Deer and the Antelope Play: The Pastoral Observations of One Ignorant American Who Loves to Walk Outside. We will also have Mr. Jeff Tweedy of Wilco and friend of Nick Offerman joining ILP's virtual event.  As the founding member and leader of the Grammy Award winning American rock band Wilco, Jeff Tweedy is one of contemporary music’s most accomplished songwriters, musicians, and performers. Jeff has released three solo albums, written original songs for eleven Wilco albums, and is the author of two New York Times’ Bestsellers, Let’s Go (So We Can Get Back): A Memoir of Recording and Discording with Wilco, etc. and How To Write One Song. Most recently, Jeff can be found via Starship Casual, his Substack newsletter, where he writes and publishes music weekly. He lives in Chicago with his family. You can either register here for the Zoom link https://us02web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_gQffphYOSVyMkn26Fd4QKg or watch it in the meeting room on the big screen by registering in the Event Calendar.
