Senior Health Insurance Program (SHIP) is a free program sponsored by the Morris Hospital. David Veronda will provide health insurance counseling service for Medicare beneficiaries and their caregivers.

CCPLD will be hosting an outdoor farmer's market. Vendors will include farmers, crafters, and artisans. We will highlight the vendors prior to each market. Interested vendors can fill out an application.

Group of ladies that get together to make items for charities and local nursing homes, such as: Operation St. Nick and quilts of valor. 

Each month on the 2nd Monday between 10am and 7pm while supplies last we will have a different adult craft for you to make and take.

3 months - 23 months and their caregiver can join us for stories, sensory activities, and songs with each week focusing on a different theme. Child needs to be CCPLD resident.

3 year olds - Kdg. ready to attend on their own can join us for books, a craft, and songs with each week focusing on a different theme. Child must be CCPLD cardholder.

Children 2 - 3 years old and their caregiver can attend this fun and interactive class with books, crafts, and songs. Child must be a CCPLD resident. If not, please see youth services. Please only register the children attending.

The Memory Cafe is a friendly, welcoming place where people living with memory loss and their caregivers can relax, connect with others, and enjoy activities together. This event takes place in the Annex. RSVP: 815-933-7791 ext. 9950.

Families can drop in with their toddlers and preschoolers for a half hour of storytime followed by 30 minutes of play time. This will give you and your children a chance to socialize and play with other families. No registration required.

6th thru 12th graders can join us in Annex A for the movie "Minecraft" and pizza on Early Dismissal Day. Please register so we order enough pizza. 

Kdg.-5th graders can join us while we explore different books and have some fun activities to go along with them. Registration is required with a CCPLD library card.

Adult CCPLD library cardholders can join us in the meeting room to play the card game Euchre. Seasoned players only, please. Prizes will be awarded to 1st place winner and biggest loser. No registration required.

Children going into 4th-5th grade can join us for books and activities focusing on a different theme each month. This month we will have a Minecraft snack, craft, and activities. Must be CCPLD cardholder.

Versiti Blood Center of Illinois will be here in the Library's meeting room for the blood drive.

Fun Fridays are going to NO REGISTRATION. Pick up a Fun Friday kit from a table in the Children's Department. Watch a video on our Facebook Page to see how to do it or read the enclosed directions.

Paint with Paula Crawford! This month's project is a lighted wine bottle with sunflowers. Cost is $5 for all supplies per adult and teen 14+ CCPLD cardholders. Registration is required. 

Public Hearing on the proposed Annual Budget and Appropriations Ordinance for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2025 and ending June 30, 2026.

Adult CCPLD cardholders can come create add on pieces for your interchangeable welcome signs made previously in the Welcome Porch Sign class. The sign will not be made this day. Registration is required. Cost is $15.
